What Information is Collected by ProHealthspan or its Contributors and When

Upon visiting the Site, you may be asked to provide personal information, such as your name, address, phone number, credit card information and e-mail address. ProHealthspan or its Contributors may have also collected other information at the time that an order is placed through any Contributor website.

Site Visit Tracking Technologies

Some of ProHealthspan’s e-mail message to you may contain a “click-through URL” which links to content on the Site. When you click one of these URLS, it passes information through the ProHealthspan web server before you arrive at the destination web page. ProHealthspan tracks this click-through data to help determine interest in particular topics and measure the effectiveness of customer communications. If you prefer not to be tracked, simply avoid clicking text or graphic links in e-mails you receive from ProHealthspan.

ProHealthspan additionally may use pixel tags in its e-mails, which are tiny invisible graphic images, to send e-mail messages in a format that customers can read. They also tell ProHealthspan whether e-mails have been opened to assure that ProHealthspan is only sending messages that are of interest to its customers. Pixel tags may be used as part of ProHealthspan’s use of third party site statistics trackers and analyzers, such as Google Analytics, which ProHealthspan employs to track and analyze the date collected from the Site.

When ProHealthspan Discloses Your Information

Internal Compliance

ProHealthspan utilizes the self-assessment approach to ensure its compliance with its Privacy Policy. ProHealthspan regularly verifies that this Privacy Policy is accurate, comprehensive, prominently displayed, completely implemented and conducts its self-assessment on an annual basis to ensure that all relevant privacy practices are being followed. Appropriate employee training is in place and internal procedures for periodically conducting objective reviews of compliance are in place. A statement verifying this self-assessment is signed by a corporate officer or other authorized representative at least once a year.
